Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World

Finally! I now own this book. I cannot wait to get started on making some cupcakes! The only problem is deciding which kind to make first. They all look so yummy! Just looking at the photo's in the book makes me drool! Yum yum yum.

OH YOU WILL LOVE LOVE LOVE this book.... The frostings are amazing too... sooo yum!!!

If you weren't 1000 miles away we could have a cupcake swap party! :-)

That would be so fun! Which ones have you made? Do you have any faves?

Let me go get my book.... hold on....K, I'm back :-)

I started with the Golden Vanilla. We all liked this one, but hubby likes the Vegan Lunchbox better, so if I'm going for vanilla/white, I usually make that one instead.

Also tried the Basic Chocolate and Pumpkin Chocolate Chip. The Pumpkin was probably my personal favorite that I've made. But my friend made the Tiramisu ones on page 119 and those by far top them all...

As for frosting, we've tried several and they are all good, but Hubby's favorite is the chocolate brownie frosting on page 78 so I make that one the most.

I haven't made anything I didn't like yet... and since I can't make decisions "they are all good" I just let hubby and Veg pick what they want... (usually end up with the same every time) :-)

Mmmmm...I think I'll make the pumkin ones 1st! :)

Kristina, I'll bring some to Dylan's party and you can try them then! We always bring cupcakes to birthday parties since K is vegan. We don't want him to miss out on the good stuff. ;)

I do the same for birthdays, bring our cupcakes... The best part is I always have an excuse to make them now. ha ha... And even after the party is over we have some left at home... Hmmm Maybe that isn't such a good thing...

Oh had to tell you also that my friend "Non-Veg" is a great baker and always brings bake goods to work. Last time she decided to bake half of her normal and half vegan for me.... The Vegan ones flew off the plates faster then any of the non-vegan ones. She actually had to put a couple a side for me, because they were all being snatched. She said she'll make them for now on! YUM!

Wow Veg! That is so great and how nice of her! I don't think most people realize just how yummy being vegan can be! :)
