Fun In The Snow!

Josh and I are always talking about moving to a warmer climate...like North Carolina, Florida, you name it. But while outside playing in the snow with my boys yesterday and having a good ole' time...I realized how much fun snow can be and how much I would probably miss it! Then again, I'd much rather take a vacation to somewhere cold and snowy than live somewhere cold and snowy. I really do love the change of the season's *sigh*. If only winter were a bit shorter.

We Are All Booked!

Well, we booked our airline tickets, hotel and rental car! So we are all set. I'm sooo excited!!! We'll be leaving in early April and staying about 5 days. Yippee! We can't wait. Our hotel is cool because it has a kitchenette , which will be very helpful since we are vegan and have a toddler. I'm going to do more research on nearby vegan friendly restaurants though...just in case we want to eat out. We're going to Marathon and hopefully to Islamorada, Bahia Honda and Key West. It's going to be wonderful. I'm still nervous about the plane ride though...so if anyone has any encouraging words..that would be great! I'm worried I'll get on the plane and decide I can't do it and get off. LOL...I just really don't know what to expect, having never been on one!

Crayon's Are Not Food

K's newest favorite thing is coloring! He loves it and I love coloring with him. He's gotten better with not eating crayon's but still has his moments. I think he mainly does it just to get a rise out of me. Goofy kid!

Florida Keys!!!

We've been planning our vacation and it's been so fun! 1st we thought about Disney, then decided on Sanibel Island for March, then thought about going to Sanibel for half of our vacation and the Keys for the other half...well, now I think we've settled on just doing the Keys in April(mainly Marathon)!!! We are all so super excited!! I've never been to Florida and only to the Ocean once when it was chilly in Connecticut. I've never even been on a plane! I'm pretty nervous about that one. But it's only for a few hours, I think I'll be OK. My main concern is that I'll freak out because I'm clausterphobic(thanks Mom lol) and the mere thought of being restricted to the plane makes me feel like I cannot breath...kinda like now! We have so many things to plan and think about. I can't wait to book it all so it will be set in stone. Woo hoo!!! We are going to Florida!!! Nevin is totally thrilled!

Just remembered that we also went to the Ocean in Boston. :)

Sesame Street Live

So we went on Thursday and had such a great time! 1st we took the kid's to one of our old time favorite places to eat...Cass Cafe, then we went to the Fox Theater for the show! Kieran's whole face lit up as soon as the characters came out on stage. It was great! He also ate a ton of popcorn and I'm surprised he didn't get a tummy ache. It was so fun! We all enjoyed it...even Nevin! We can't wait to go again next year! Here are some pics from our night.
